Leatherworking I

Learn the ins and outs of working with leather by handcrafting a custom leather cuff.

Students will gain a solid foundation of leather working techniques:

• leather identification and preparation
• cutting
• dying
• edge finishing
• tooling
• hardware setting including rivets and snaps

By the end of this workshop, students will have made a custom leather cuff of their own design.

Completion of this workshop grants TXRX Members access to leather craft tools in the Art Lab.
